What is a Renovation Mentor, and how can I help you?

Here's a recent example!

Mark and Susan (the names have been changed to protect the embarrassed) hired me to help them with their renovation, but told me that they didn't feel they needed a lot of input from me. They just wanted me to check on the contractor's work when they felt they needed some help.

In Mark's words, "Unfortunately, I realized too late that monitoring the quality of the work in progress is only a small part of the effort. The intangibles, and where we got tripped up on our project, is in the contract administration, budgeting, project management and project completion. If I had known then what I know now, I would have had David along from the very beginning."

Had I been involved in the planning and implementation of Mark and Susan's project from the beginning, they would have had a stress-free renovation, and I could have saved them some money, too!

No homeowner starts a renovation expecting to end up in a disaster, but disasters do happen all too often. The problem is that most homeowners don't see the disaster warning signs before it's too late. Can you honestly say that you would? However I do. Because of my knowledge and experience, you WILL have a stress-free renovation, and save some money too.

“David had a keen eye for the job being performed and executed correctly and finished to the highest standard. The management of the trades and the response of positive dialogues could be seen and aided a successful timeline for us."
